Do many people forward 1 percent. tax for public benefit organizations?

Anna Machalica-Pułtorak: It is true that each year the number of people returning "1 percent." grows, but it is still too small for the amount transferred to NGOs can be called large. 70% of taxpayers do not enjoy that right. Some simply ignore this box on a PIT form

Many organizations conduct the activities promoting information about this, talking about this in the media. Why Poles forget about it?

This is the result of a lack of reliable education. A large group of people, has the conviction that "passing" 1 percent. will have to pay tax or pay that amount. 1 percent. is part of a tax that's already been charged and sent to the state budget. It should therefore be reminded that this percentage passing we lose nothing, and actually gain the winning share of the social enterprise.

Is 1 percent tax can be transferred to the Association "Open Door"?

How will be used means, harvested in this manner?

Association "Open Door" runs nine centers, and operates at many levels of society, especially the most difficult. An example is the House Behind the Gate. It is a center for young people, which  the turmoil of life deprived "their place on Earth." We help them to find themselves, we provide a home, education, help to find a job and my their own accomodation. With our support they become full citizens, as we are working and paying taxes. Besides the already mentioned House Behind the Gate, another center run by the "Open Door" is a  socio-therapeutic day room "Little Prince" for children in the Praga district. It's still a "difficult" district. Children and adolescents Prague has no patterns. A lot of families are dysfunctional families, educationally inefficient. Also, children with so-called good and prosperous homes have problems, because the parents do not have time for them. This mix of poverty and wealth is becoming a real volcano, when you leave the kids unattended. Therefore, they have their day room, where they can come, do homework, spend time and learn good behaviors such as helping others in the occupational therapy workshops, which run for young people with intellectual disability.

Will after the transfer of 1 percent for Association "Open Door" can I check on what it was designed?

Probably all of these projects require considerable financial resources and commitment?

Yes, Association "Open Door" is a nongovernmental organization, and must continually seek funds for statutory activity. Therefore, it is important to transfer 1 percent. Any, even the smallest, the amount is of great importance and for every penny - on behalf of dependents, beneficiaries and volunteers, thank you.

Is any of publicly known people sent to the Association "Open Door" 1 percent. tax?

There are some people who for years provide 1 percent. tax, but are not doing this for publicity, but with the understanding of our actions. They know that they are fighting against social exclusion, poverty and pathologies of the heart and want to help us do that.
This year our campaign about the possibility of transferring 1 percent. tax for the benefit of the Association "Open Door", joined the young singer Lidia Kopania.
