Professional activation

To meet the needs of the unemployed, the Labour Club Association "Open Door" started training in active job search. The program provides for the delivery of such knowledge and skills that will provide tools to support the unemployed find jobs.

Work Club primarily serves people not having experience in search of work and those who sought it in vain.

Participants in 55-hour training session (4 hours per day for 3 weeks) afforded the possibility to acquire the skills to seek employment, identify their professional aptitude, good behavior during the interview. They can also count on help in preparing the application documents. Improve their interpersonal skills and assertiveness.

Participants will also be able to reflect on the existing setbacks in finding employment and to determine their causes. Gain basic knowledge about the labor market, the easier to find in his place. Also lay the individual action plan tailored to their needs and aspirations, and will attempt to implement it. Exchange of experience among the participants of workshops should increase the effectiveness of independent attempts to change their professional situation. Groups are formed so that they were people with different educational levels, age and gender.

Since the effectiveness of the labor market also depends on thinking about ourselves, a big emphasis on changing attitudes toward a stronger motivation and self-confidence. The workshop will show that finding a job is possible and achievable.

 The training lasts three weeks, of which the first two are designed for both classroom and practical training. Last week, the participants use the knowledge gained by taking concrete actions to find work: survey of job advertisements, phone calls to employers, writing application documents. Leader of the Labour Club supports and advises on an individual basis.

 The leader uses a variety of training methods. Disseminate information, but also helps make a positive change in attitude of participants, which often is the key to finding the job market.
