The facility started operations in 2002. The origins of activity was limited to one studio, kitchen, bathroom and office. In 2008, it was a very different place, preparing people with disabilities into employment and social adaptation.

Every day on the classes coming here thirty beneficiaries with varying degrees of disability. At their disposal have three labs: the household, creative activities, and computer.

Household laboratory prepares participants to self-reliance and independence and helps develop the skills and efficiency necessary for independent functioning in daily life.

Laboratory of creative activities is involved in developing manual talents. Participants form a variety of art works, stimulating and developing their own skills and abilities.

Computer Lab offers learning support of software, and Internet use. The acquired knowledge and skills serve the beneficiaries for employment in the open market

All participants also benefit from the workshops of professional activation, interpersonal training and pantomime classes and sports.

Mutual Aid Centre "House Behind the Gate"

Center brings together a number of centers, which form a complex of complementary services. Agency for Employment, Social Placement Office and the Club of Social Integration. The number of people using the service: 1620.

The bureau service is used by the unemployed, who have in disposal offers for jobs in various industries, especially such as trade, catering, office administration, marketing, security, etc. The office has a permanent base of employers, with whom has been cooperating for years as well as up to date seeks new partners. Unemployed people have access to job offers appearing in daily newspapers such as in "Gazeta Wyborcza" in appendix "Praca", "Oferta" and web portals.

The Agency also organizes workshops of active looking for work, time management, exploring the professional potential, self-presentation and others, to assist in locating the unemployed in the labor market.

Support Centre for Persons with Disabilities "Partners"

The resort operates in the Wola district of the capital city Warsaw since 2007. Programmatically separate, specialized facility is an element created by the Association "Open Door" system of social and vocational rehabilitation for adults with intellectual disabilities and coexisting disorders (conduct disorder, psychiatric disorders, epilepsy, etc.), mostly young.

The center runs various support by offering group activities in a number of studios and workshops of varying nature: life skills workshop,creative activities studio, computer lab and psychoeducational workshops and proffesional activation workshops.

The facility also conducts individual lessons with the participants, offering them psychological, educational, job counseling and support in the everyday affairs of life.

Very interesting is the club activities of the Centre, within which are conducted theatrical workshops, drama workshops, photography workshops and a film club and the model club.

The Little Prince

Day room takes care of 30 children in Prague, offering them extracurricular activities, therapeutic activities, summer camps. Children also receive support in the form of food, teaching aids, toys and clothing. With this aid also benefit their families. Children participate in various attractive designs: they learn about monuments nad the various important institutions in Warsaw, photograph, paint, create a theater. With these occupations perform better in school, are healthier and safer. The process of growing up and development proceeds more smoothly, a positive prognosis for their future.

Gallery Pharmacy of Art

It is a socio-cultural project combining culture-task in a seemingly remote areas: the promotion of contemporary art and socio-professional inclusion of disabled persons in social structures.

The project operates as a department of professional activity of people with disabilities who are preparing for employment in the open labor market. Workers with disabilities are provided with full rehabilitation of health and socio-professional. Thanks to this the team of 24 disabled workers employed in the open market each year is 4-5 people, or 21 percent. Team. The mission and purpose of the Pharmacy of Art is to promote contemporary art and aesthetic sensibilities shaping society. In the past year there were organized five exhibitions of young artists: Tomasz Milanowski, Arkadiusz Tuchomski, Anna Bedynska, Agata Masternak. Also have occurred in an area of street adjacent to the Gallery, an outdoor exhibition,"Signs of the Times" presented the architectural and social history. Shows were watched by 12 000 people, and gallery has already permanent inscribed in a network of exhibition centers in Warsaw.

Center for Local Initiatives "Wrzeciono"

The resort was founded in March 2006 as Youth Business Incubator's Economic and Social of Bielany. The initiators were students of last year the UW Institute for Public Policy. It was decided to meet the problem of unemployment among young people by organizing retraining courses, expert advice and assistance in setting up their own companies in cooperation with large foreign companies. After several months the formula of operation has changed the, which resulted in a change of name - as was the Centre for Local Initiatives "Wrzeciono".

Their own objectives CIL Wrzeciono implements providing free counseling work services in preparing the application documents, searching for jobs. The offer also includes free legal advice, consultations with a psychologist, speech therapist and physiotherapist, meeting with business advisor and free computer courses and classroom support for children and youth, supporting the local community in their own initiatives.

Therapy Workshops

Operate from 1 February 2001. They are a form of personal, social and professional rehabilitation of young people with intellectual disabilities. Workshops are designed to prepare them for a maximum of independent and active life and professional work. Workshops currently include support for 25 participants.

The basic form of their development is occupational therapy in the studios of: administrative office, computer, household appliances, ceramic handicraft, art.

In addition to classes in the studios they have the opportunity to participate in the development of attractive activities: language, education (health promotion, prevention of addiction), theater, music, sports (swimming, gym, bowling, table tennis), excursions to workplaces.

In the daily activities conducted by the Workshop 25 people are involved, mostly young with intellectual disabilities in the moderate and severe degree
